What You’ll Do

  • Support contract and tender management processes in accordance with relevant prescripts.
  • Administer the opening and closing of tender processes to ensure compliance with SCM policies and Treasury Regulations.
  • Procure goods and services based on departmental requirements and regulations.
  • Provide effective inventory management support to enhance the department’s efficiency.
  • Assist with asset management in line with departmental policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • Matriculation / Grade 12 with passed Commercial Subjects (Business Management, Economics, Accounting) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Financial Management and Supply Chain Framework.
  • Familiarity with the Logis System and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act.
  • Strong client orientation and customer focus skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, presentation, analytical, communication, and numeracy skills.
