What You’ll Do

  • Provide clerical support for fleet services, including receiving and distributing allocations.
  • Record, organize, and maintain correspondence and data related to fleet management.
  • Update fleet management registers and handle routine enquiries.
  • Manage the filing system and maintain records for incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding the procurement of goods and services.
  • Maintain an asset register and control office stationery supplies.
  • Support personnel administration by maintaining leave and attendance registers.
  • Assist with financial administration, including capturing expenditure and managing petty cash.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF level 04 as recognized by SAQA.
  • A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for applicants with disabilities).
  • Basic knowledge of relevant Public Service procedures and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to plan and organize effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, with familiarity in office software.

Requirements

A qualification at NQF level 04 as recognized by SAQA.

Valid driver’s license, with the exception of applicants with disabilities.

Knowledge And Skills: Basic knowledge of relevant Public Service.

Communication skills.

Job Duties

Render administration clerical support of fleet services: Receive and provide GG allocation to use during and after normal working hours.

Record, organise, store, capture and retrieve correspondence and data in relation to fleet management.

Update fleet management registers and statistics.

Handle routine enquiries.

Make photocopies and receive or send facsimiles.

Distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required.

Keep and maintain 264 the filing system for the component.

Type letters and/or other correspondence when required.

Keep and maintain the incoming and outgoing document register of the component.

Render administration clerical support on office services and accommodations: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to procurement of goods and services.

Obtain quotations, complete procurement forms for the purchasing of standard office items.

Stock control of office stationery.

Keep and maintain the asset register of the component (district offices).

Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component: Maintain a leave register for the component.

Keep and maintain personnel records in the component.

Keep and maintain the attendance register of the component.

Render financial administration support services in the component: Capture and update expenditure in component.

Check correctness of subsistence and travel claims of officials and submit to manager for approval.

Handle telephone accounts and petty cash for the component.

Salary

R237 453 per annum (Level 05)
