About the Role
The Office of the MEC in Bhisho is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as an Admin Support and Coordination member. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate planning processes for the MEC’s office to ensure effective operations.
- Analyze reports from statutory bodies and highlight key areas for attention.
- Organize and facilitate sessions to discuss portfolio questions, ensuring comprehensive responses.
- Manage and monitor Directorate Operational Plans to align with legislative requirements.
- Develop and implement records management policies and procedures for compliance.
- Provide registry support services and manage documentation safekeeping in line with relevant legislation.
- Offer secretarial and receptionist services, handling calls and maintaining effective communication flow.
- Compile and collate various reports, including progress and management reports.
- Oversee budgeting processes and financial reporting for the office.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6/7) in Public Administration as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar administrative or assistant director role.
- A valid Code 8 (EB) driver’s license.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation processes, reporting procedures, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with the Public Service Act and relevant financial management regulations.
