What You’ll Do
- Provide general office support to ensure the smooth operation of community development initiatives.
- Organize venues for meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
- Document meeting minutes and important discussions for future reference.
- Handle procurement of accommodation and catering for various events.
- Arrange transportation logistics for participants and staff.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to information.
- Compile and consolidate spreadsheets for the appointment and payment of participants.
- Capture participants’ contracts in the system accurately.
- Assist in the distribution of protective clothing to participants as required.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate is required for this position.
- Basic knowledge of EPWP Phase 3 guidelines and the National Development Plan.
- Familiarity with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Act No. 108 of 1996, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Strong computer literacy skills to manage administrative tasks effectively.
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Proficient policy development skills to support departmental objectives.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
