Key Responsibilities

Requirements/Qualifications
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens between 18 and 35 years old by 31 December 2027.
- Identify as Black according to the B-BBEE Act (African, Coloured, or Indian).
- Have completed Matric with at least 60% in NSC Mathematics.
- Have an undergraduate degree with a minimum average of 60%.
- Be entering their first full-time, one-year Honours degree in 2027 in a qualifying field.
- Attend a recognised and accredited public university in South Africa.
- Have a combined household income not exceeding R700,000 per annum.
Benefits
The bursary covers tuition fees, accommodation up to R65,000, monthly travel stipends, food vouchers, and airtime vouchers. Additionally, recipients may receive student support and development services to enhance their academic journey.
