About the Opportunity
The Caroline Mack Foundation, in partnership with SD Recruitment, is thrilled to offer a prestigious bursary to one deserving student pursuing a Nursing qualification recognized by the South African Nursing Council (SANC). This bursary is designed to support students in the Western Cape who exhibit strong academic potential and demonstrate financial need.

Key Responsibilities
Recipients of the bursary are expected to maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout their studies. Upon graduation, students are required to fulfill a work-back obligation, which includes a compulsory Community Service Year that counts towards the first year of this commitment.
Requirements/Qualifications
To qualify for this bursary, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens residing in the Western Cape.
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Be pursuing or intending to pursue a SANC-recognized undergraduate Nursing qualification.
- Be accepted or enrolled at a recognized and accredited higher education institution in South Africa.
- Have achieved a minimum academic average of 65%.
- Demonstrate financial need.
