Key Responsibilities
For the Health and Safety Officer Training Programme, participants will engage in both theoretical and practical training, including health and safety regulations, maintaining work areas, and administrative tasks. The Electrical Apprenticeship Programme offers comprehensive training through theoretical, simulation, and practical workplace components, focusing on electrical skills and safety requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications
Health and Safety Officer Programme:
– Ages 18-34
– South African citizen
– Unemployed and residing in the West Coast
– NQF Level 3, Grade 11, or NCV Level 3
– Good health and physically fit
– Willing to travel and work at heights
Electrical Apprenticeship Programme:
– Ages 18-30
– South African citizen
– Unemployed and residing in the West Coast
– NQF Level 1, Grade 9, or NCV Level 2 with Pure Mathematics
– Good health and physically fit
– Willing to travel and work at heights
Benefits
Participants in the Health and Safety Programme will receive a monthly stipend of R3,000 and an allowance of R2,000. Electrical Apprenticeship participants will receive a monthly stipend of R5,500 and an allowance of R2,000.
