What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality ultrasound services that align with clinical standards and patient needs.
• Execute ultrasound procedures completely to prevent complications and ensure patient safety.
• Offer general administrative support and assist with patient bookings.
• Supervise and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in quality assurance and improvement programmes to maintain high standards.
• Develop and implement protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Compile reports and memos as required by the management team.
• Promote Batho Pele Principles to ensure effective service delivery.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
• Degree or National Diploma in Ultrasound.
• Current registration with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Sonographer.
• Relevant experience after registration, varying by level of qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continued professional development and quality assurance.
