What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
  • Control and complete log sheets for all official trips.
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Provide management with reports on vehicle performance and compile accident reports.
  • Process transport payments and supervise transport clerks and drivers.
  • Coordinate travel logistics for the fleet and assist with the acquisition of subsidized vehicles.
  • Process fuel claims and monitor compliance with the transport policy.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 with two years of relevant experience in Transport, SCM, or Logistics Management, or a National Diploma/Advanced Certificate in the same fields with one year of relevant experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential for travel requirements.
  • Strong supervisory and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages and good financial management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Planning, organizing, and conflict management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
