A company in Bloemfontein is looking to appoint a Surveillance Technician to install, monitor, repair, and troubleshoot surveillance systems. This role involves maintaining CCTV, network infrastructure, and fibre installations in line with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Install surveillance systems according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
Monitor the performance and functionality of surveillance systems.
Repair and troubleshoot faults identified in the surveillance equipment.
Conduct inspections of surveillance systems to detect malfunctions.
Perform cable installations and connect devices as required.
Verify compliance of installations with established SOPs.

Requirements

National Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level 4.
Minimum of three years’ experience working in an IT environment.
At least two years’ exposure to IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV, and fibre installations.
Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.
