Internal Appliance Technician – Cape Town

A company based in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Internal Appliance Technician to join their engineering team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in household appliances, with an emphasis on effective fault-finding and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake electrical fault diagnosis and repair on household appliances.
Conduct thorough fault-finding activities using technical skills.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams accurately.
Work with electronic and microprocessor-controlled systems as required.
Apply knowledge of microprocessor and IoT technology in appliance repairs.

Requirements

Qualified Trade Tested Electrician.
Proven experience in electrical repair and fault-finding.
Experience diagnosing and repairing household appliances is advantageous.
Experience working with electronic or microprocessor-controlled systems is beneficial.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
Understanding of microprocessor-controlled systems and IoT technology.
