A well-established company is seeking a Civil Construction Manager / Site Agent based in Wellington. This role is critical for overseeing civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and managing site operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage civil construction projects including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
Implement and monitor construction methods in line with SANS 1200 and GCC contracts.
Lead, coordinate, and supervise site teams and subcontractors to deliver project goals.
Oversee site operations ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

Requirements

BEng, BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil construction projects.
Strong understanding of civil construction methods, SANS 1200 specifications, and GCC contract requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
