What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate all acquisition-related issues to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee demand management functions and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Implement and maintain national policies regarding Supply Chain Management.
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations related to supply chain performance.
  • Manage vehicle fleet operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Oversee movable government property inspections and stocktaking processes.
  • Lead performance management functions within the Supply Chain Management section.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven competency in the core functions of supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of four years’ relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organising, and problem-solving skills.
