What You’ll Do
- Provide acquisition services in line with departmental requirements.
- Compile requests for quotation documents accurately and timely.
- Verify the registration of service providers on the LOGIS system.
- Execute the bidding and quotation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Publish tender invitations and manage the distribution of quotation documents to selected service providers.
- Receive and open bid and quotation documents, ensuring all submissions are complete and accurate.
- Evaluate quotations based on SCM prescripts and make informed recommendations.
- Publish tender awards as necessary and conduct compliance checks on documentation.
- Maintain a quotation register for tracking and record-keeping purposes.
- Submit complete documentation for further processing within the Logistics Management framework.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Cost & Management Accounting, or related fields (NQF Level 06).
- 1-2 years of experience in Acquisition Management or a related area.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Knowledge of National Treasury and Provincial Treasury Prescripts and Circulars.
- Understanding of SCM Delegations, Policies, and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications and good planning and organizational skills.
