What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of strategic and annual performance plans.
  • Oversee the provision of legal representation for government in all litigation matters, including debt collection.
  • Facilitate the provision of conveyancing and notarial services.
  • Draft and provide legal opinions and contracts in compliance with the Solicitor-General’s standards.
  • Lead and support a team, ensuring effective people management practices are in place.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF level 7 qualification in Law / LLB as recognised by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience at a senior managerial level.
  • Admission as an Attorney with a strong background in administrative functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic leadership and project management.
