What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and capture financial journals, ensuring accurate budget allocation in the system.
  • Request and analyze PERSAL and BAS reports to identify misallocations and misclassifications.
  • Generate monthly expenditure reports, maintaining accurate records of financial commitments and projections.
  • Facilitate the shifting of funds within the budget while ensuring compliance and monitoring through the BAS system.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, managing documentation for internal and external distribution as required.

What You’ll Need

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 06/07) in Financial Management or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance management environment.
  • Valid driver’s license (not required for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury regulations, along with the LOGIS/BAS system.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer literacy skills.
