What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Identify and extract test requirements from business needs and acceptance criteria.
- Establish and improve formal QA processes and methodologies, including Agile and ISTQB standards.
- Conduct performance, load, and security testing based on project requirements.
- Track new and modified requirements to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Document and report detailed test results and defect metrics for management.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare business users for testing sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity in testing approaches and requirements.
- Generate weekly test summary reports covering test progress and quality status.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing, both manual and automated.
- Proficiency with web technologies and experience in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Xray.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
