What You’ll Do
- Maintain administration of garnishee orders from SARS and ensure their effective implementation.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of income tax reports to SARS after payment runs.
- Supervise manual and electronic processes related to tax certificates and ensure accuracy in income tax calculations.
- Manage tax-related inquiries and provide information to various business units.
- Authorize tax refunds, recoveries, and voluntary tax deductions based on pensioner instructions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Income Tax Act, Pension Fund Act, and PFMA.
- Lead and develop a team, managing performance and fostering a positive work environment.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year National Diploma/Degree in Finance Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance environment, including 2 years in a supervisory role, or 5 years of appropriate experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
- In-depth knowledge of the Income Tax Act and its interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach and develop team members.
- High integrity, reliability, and a commitment to quality and service orientation.
