The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated Deputy Director for the Black Industrialist Programme, based at the Head Office in Pietermaritzburg. What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the implementation of the KZN Black Industrial Framework.
- Build and nurture stakeholder partnerships to enhance industrial initiatives.
- Support market and financial access for Black industrialists in the region.
- Develop and execute policies, strategies, and frameworks relevant to the Black Industrialist Programme.
- Manage human and financial resources within the Sub-directorate.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or a three-year National Diploma in Business Management, Business Administration, Economics, Production, or Operations Management at NQF Level 6/7 as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 3 years’ junior management experience in Enterprise Development within the manufacturing sector or in Industrial Development projects.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing value chains and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in both isiZulu and English, with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
