What You’ll Do

  • Support cash flow management processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Send daily PMG bank statements to relevant units for allocations.
  • Review receipts and debits reports daily for accuracy in allocations.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all GEPF accounts.
  • Process journal entries and monitor daily cash flow movements.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly intercompany balances between funds.
  • Assist auditors by providing necessary financial information.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient cash flow operations.
  • Review monthly cash flow projections and variances.
  • Prepare quarterly reports on GEPF Service Level Agreement compliance.
  • Assist in preparing annual cash flow projections.
  • Supervise and develop staff, ensuring optimal team performance.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year National Diploma/Degree in Finance or equivalent qualification (minimum 360 credits).
  • At least 3 years of appropriate experience in the Financial Accounting environment, with 2 years in a supervisory role, or 5 years’ experience within the Financial Accounting environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and a strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and Government Employees Pension Rules.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work accurately, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, honesty, and integrity.
