What You’ll Do

  • Send purchase orders to suppliers and manage outstanding stock follow-ups.
  • Oversee the delivery of goods and services, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Prepare order batches for payments and maintain filing and record-keeping for receipts and vouchers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement delegations for all purchases.
  • Liaise with suppliers to expedite open orders and resolve procurement discrepancies.
  • Compile and submit monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Supervise the receive and dispatch section, including personnel and performance assessments.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Environment.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a supply chain management environment.
  • Knowledge of the Walker System and prescripts governing Supply Chain Management (PFMA, PPPFA, and Treasury Regulations).
  • Proficient in computer literacy and capable of working under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with problem-solving and report writing abilities.
  • Skills in financial management, conflict management, and personnel supervision.
