What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive legal administrative services and support to management.
- Assist in offering legal advice and guidance on GEP Law and related matters.
- Review and comment on legal documents to ensure compliance.
- Manage legal matters within the department, including litigation management.
- Organize and attend scheduled hearings, ensuring all court processes are followed.
- Conduct thorough legal research to prepare for hearings and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare and assemble materials for dispute resolution sessions.
- Supervise and support staff, managing performance and training.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year National Diploma or Degree in a legal field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a legal environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer literacy.
- Knowledge of the Public Service Act and South African pensions legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
