What You’ll Do

  • Administer the recruitment and selection process while ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Quality assure draft advertisements and manage the processing of applications.
  • Collaborate with line managers to confirm recruitment plans promptly.
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of all recruitment logistics and related documentation.
  • Ensure proper completion and filing of recruitment forms and documentation.
  • Develop and review human resource policies to align with departmental objectives.
  • Provide HR advisory services and guidance to management and staff.
  • Draft responses regarding recruitment processes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage resources, risks, and address audit queries efficiently.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma (360 credits, NQF 6) in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Public Administration.
  • A degree in Human Resource Management (NQF 7) is advantageous.
  • At least three years of experience in HR recruitment and selection.
  • Strong knowledge of public service legislation, including the Public Service Act and Employment Equity Act.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when necessary.
