What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate capacity development programs for government-wide Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PM&E) systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership on PM&E initiatives to enhance public sector institutions’ monitoring capabilities.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish effective partnerships for PM&E training and development.
  • Offer technical advisory support to strengthen government-wide monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to leverage diverse expertise in professionalizing PM&E practitioners.
  • Oversee the provision of core functions and services associated with PM&E capacity development.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF Level 7 qualification in Public Administration, Management, or Human Resource Development.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing and implementing PM&E policy frameworks and capacity development strategies, with at least 5 years at a Middle/Senior Management level.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Understanding of political, planning, and governance issues as they relate to government operations.
  • Strong knowledge of government prescripts, policies, and the National Development Plan (NDP).
  • Proven management skills, including experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
