About the Opportunity
Ridgeway College is excited to offer three Graduate Intern Teacher positions designed to support newly graduated educators in gaining practical experience. This 12-month programme allows interns to work closely with experienced teachers, refining their classroom management, lesson delivery, and assessment skills.

Key Responsibilities
– Deliver structured subject lessons independently under a mentor’s guidance.
– Design, administer, and grade formal assessments.
– Ensure assessments meet CAPS and IEB standards.
– Provide academic support to students in need.
– Lead and manage school sports teams and cultural societies.
– Develop classroom management and lesson delivery skills with experienced teachers.
Requirements/Qualifications
– Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or a Bachelor’s degree with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
– Valid SACE registration certificate.
– Clear criminal record with SAPS clearance and National Child Protection Register verification.
– Excellent communication skills in English.
– Strong subject-matter knowledge and digital literacy.
