What You’ll Do

• Manage the National School Nutrition Conditional Grant, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop and review norms and standards for the National School Nutrition Programme.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of NSNP services at national, provincial, district, and school levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate program impact and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Implement risk management measures to enhance service delivery and accountability.
• Supervise and manage NSNP staff across various levels to foster a productive work environment.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement efforts to align with departmental priorities.

What You’ll Need

• A qualification at NQF Level 7 recognized by SAQA.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of the National School Nutrition Programme and related policies.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and community engagement.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, project management, and research skills.
• Thorough understanding of the public sector policy and legislative environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
