What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support for the implementation of health and wellness strategies.
- Assist in the rollout of health and wellness policies for the college.
- Build proactive relationships with employees to understand and address their needs.
- Engage with high-risk employees through various communication channels.
- Coordinate health and wellness programs based on survey feedback.
- Conduct training sessions focused on staff development and wellness initiatives.
- Liaise with third parties to gather information and resolve issues effectively.
- Promote psycho-social and physical wellness of employees through various interventions.
- Monitor wellness programs and provide support for managing lifestyle diseases.
- Assist with logistical arrangements for health events and workshops.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 / Matric / Level 4 certificate.
- An appropriate Diploma or Degree in Psychology, Sports Science, or Employee Wellness.
- 1-2 years of experience in Employee Health & Wellness or Employee Assistance Program.
- Registration with SACSSP, HPCSA, or EAPSA is required.
- Strong computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of integrated Employee Health and Wellness frameworks.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct counselling and engage with diverse employee needs.
- Understanding of health and productivity management.
