What You’ll Do
- Maintain an efficient filing system for documentation in accordance with records management policies.
- Ensure performance-related submissions and supporting evidence are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Implement a reminder system to track reporting deadlines and submissions.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence effectively.
- Coordinate the distribution of reporting templates, guidelines, and schedules.
- Compile administrative statistics related to reporting compliance.
- Prepare meeting agendas, attendance registers, and minutes for meetings.
- Draft routine correspondence to support the department’s operations.
- Develop and maintain a performance information-related database.
- Provide coordination support for personnel-related administrative matters.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in core functions of the role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- South African citizenship with proof required at the interview.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a relevant field.
- An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of relevant prescripts applicable to the Public Service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage extended hours.
