What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and coordinate sector-wide infrastructure planning processes.
- Develop and review Infrastructure Policy and Guidelines.
- Coordinate the implementation of National Infrastructure Projects.
- Monitor compliance of Social Development Infrastructure facilities with applicable norms and standards.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF Level 7 recognized by SAQA in Infrastructure Management, Environmental Sciences, Built Management, or Environmental Studies.
- 2-3 years of experience at a junior management level.
- Knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations.
- Understanding of public infrastructure project management frameworks, including GIAMA and IDMS.
- Familiarity with Treasury Regulations, PFMA, and SCM prescripts.
- Knowledge of Social Development Sector regulations and Municipality Infrastructure Bylaws.
- Proficiency in Spatial Planning and Land Usage Management Act.
- Excellent project and program management skills, with strong financial administration capabilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, research, and report writing abilities.
- Competence in MS Office and project management software.
- Attributes such as adaptability, emotional intelligence, and an independent mindset are essential.
