What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-depth research and development in agricultural science.
• Perform scientific analyses and manage regulatory functions related to agriculture.
• Develop and implement effective methodologies, policies, systems, and procedures for agricultural practices.
• Mentor and develop human capital within the department.
• Handle various administrative functions to support research initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• A four-year B.Sc in Agriculture majoring in Microbiology and/or Plant Pathology (NQF level 08).
• Compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Professional Natural Scientist.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural research methodologies and laboratory instrumentation.
• Familiarity with the Labour Relations Act, Public Service Regulations, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
