What You’ll Do
- Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of nursing care in a Primary Health Care setting
- Maintain ethical practices within legal and regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care
- Efficiently utilize human, material, and physical resources
- Participate in training programs and research initiatives
- Uphold workplace discipline among nursing staff
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (nursing diploma/degree) or equivalent for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
- For Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience
- Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts and overtime, as required
- Strong knowledge of nursing care processes and the Nursing Act
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to write reports
- Good interpersonal and team-building abilities
