What You’ll Do

• Deliver clinical services across a full spectrum of general Urologic Surgery.
• Focus on trauma and emergency Urology at the district level.
• Provide elective Urology surgery services within the district.
• Supervise and mentor Urology surgeons-in-training.
• Participate actively in the postgraduate and undergraduate teaching programs.
• Manage a variety of portfolios and contribute to research projects.
• Conduct audits and research on relevant health burdens.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Urology.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Urology.
• For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration.
• For Grade 2: At least 5 years of relevant experience post-registration.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience post-registration.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong ethical principles and excellent clinical and counselling skills.
• Computer literacy and proficient leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
