What You’ll Do

  • Identify nursing care needs and develop comprehensive nursing care plans.
  • Supervise and render specialized clinical nursing care in the Trauma & Emergency department.
  • Support clinical staff during surgical and medical procedures.
  • Efficiently manage human, material, and physical resources to enhance patient care.
  • Promote professional growth and maintain ethical standards among nursing personnel.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation and policies of the Department of Health.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) allowing registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
  • A post-basic nursing qualification in Critical Care Nursing or Emergency Nursing accredited with SANC.
  • Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years of recognizable nursing experience after registration with SANC.
  • Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years of recognizable nursing experience post-registration, including advanced specialization.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
