What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred for physiotherapy.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs.
- Coordinate high-quality physiotherapy services and ensure they are up-to-date with current best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and skills development programs.
- Manage equipment and infrastructure, including stock control and procurement processes.
- Support your supervisor in transformative changes and additional supervisory tasks.
- Engage in clinical audits, maintain clinical records, and contribute to departmental committees.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to community service therapists and students.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Practitioner.
- Current Annual Registration with the HPCSA.
- Knowledge of critical care areas and specialized rehabilitative services.
- Proficiency in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant experience based on the position’s grade requirements.
