What You’ll Do

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred for physiotherapy.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs.
• Coordinate high-quality physiotherapy services and ensure they are up-to-date with current best practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and skills development programs.
• Manage equipment and infrastructure, including stock control and procurement processes.
• Support your supervisor in transformative changes and additional supervisory tasks.
• Engage in clinical audits, maintain clinical records, and contribute to departmental committees.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to community service therapists and students.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Practitioner.
• Current Annual Registration with the HPCSA.
• Knowledge of critical care areas and specialized rehabilitative services.
• Proficiency in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant experience based on the position’s grade requirements.
