What You’ll Do

• Coordinate pharmacy training, internships, community service, and learner programs.
• Ensure compliance with SAPC regulatory standards and pharmacy registrations.
• Provide guidance on pharmacy legislation and Good Pharmacy Practice standards.
• Support professional development programs for pharmacy tutors and learners.
• Monitor and assess pharmacy facilities’ operational and service delivery effectiveness.
• Manage pharmaceutical financial reporting and statutory submissions.
• Enhance Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) programs to promote appropriate medicine use.
• Oversee cold chain management compliance across pharmacy facilities.

What You’ll Need

• A basic qualification accredited with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Registration with the SAPC as a Pharmacist.
• Relevant experience varies by grade:
• Grade 1: None required for South African qualified employees.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience post-registration.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 13 years relevant experience post-registration.
• Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
• Knowledge of National and Provincial Health Policies and Pharmaceutical acts.
• Strong management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and data management.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
