What You’ll Do
- Render comprehensive Occupational Therapy services to patients.
- Implement National and Provincial policies and strategies in practice.
- Assess patients and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Exercise clinical responsibility to ensure optimal diagnostic imaging and interventions.
- Properly manage allocated financial and physical resources.
- Supervise students in accordance with agreements with tertiary institutions.
- Promote and market Occupational Therapy services within the institution.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist.
- For Grade 1: No prior experience is required.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ experience registered with the HPCSA.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ experience registered with the HPCSA.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to Occupational Therapy practice.
- Competence in clinical assessment and treatment methodologies as per National Rehabilitation Policies.

Requirements

Good Clinical Assessment and Diagonal skills.
Render daily Assessment and Treatment to the Patients that comply with National Rehabilitation Policies.
Implement Therapy Programmes for the different areas.
Give support and guidance to other staff.
Knowledge of legislation applicable to the practice of Occupational Therapy.
Job Duties
Render Occupational Therapy Services.Implement National and Provincial Policies and Strategies.

Proper utilisation of allocated financial and physical resources.
