The Metro TB Hospital Complex (DP Marais Hospital) is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals for the position of Nursing Assistant Grade 1 to 3. What You’ll Need
- A qualification that permits registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- For Grade 1: No experience is required post-registration with SANC.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration with SANC.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration with SANC.
- Willingness to work overtime, shifts, public holidays, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and contribute effectively at the level of the advertised position.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
Experience: Grade 1: None after registration with SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
Grade 2: A Minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Nursing Assistant with SANC.
Grade 3: A Minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Nursing Assistant with SANC.
Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime, shifts, public holidays and weekends.
Willingness to rotate within the institution.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of nursing processes and procedures as outlined in nursing, health related public service legislation, regulation and policies.
Skills to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to function within the multi-disciplinary team and facilitate on the level of the advertised position.
