What You’ll Do

• Deliver clinical services at a specialist level across internal medicine, including in-patient and out-patient care.
• Manage administrative and clinical governance tasks, such as OPD management and medical record keeping.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data analysis to enhance service delivery.
• Teach, train, and supervise junior medical staff and students, contributing to the academic program of the hospital.
• Collaborate within the Metro East ecosystem to ensure alignment with internal medicine practices.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine.
• For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration.
• For Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Strong clinical experience in internal medicine and competence in echocardiography.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and administrative skills, along with computer literacy.
