What You’ll Do

• Provide effective and efficient clinical management of patients in trauma and emergency settings.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate medical students, interns, and community service medical officers.
• Collaborate and manage teams within a high-pressure environment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery.
• Uphold professionalism through effective communication and adherence to administrative protocols.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
• Registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
• For Grade 1: No experience required for SA qualified employees; 1 year of relevant experience for foreign qualified employees.
• For Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner for SA qualified employees; 6 years for foreign qualified employees.
• For Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner for SA qualified employees; 11 years for foreign qualified employees.
• Willingness to work commuted overtime and manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Competencies in emergency care, teaching, communication, and basic computer literacy.
