What You’ll Do
- Provide quality clinical care to patients in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff and auxiliary staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Manage administrative tasks related to clinical services and medico-legal matters.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, contributing to the strategic objectives of the healthcare division.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources, including laboratory services, medicines, and medical supplies.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner is essential.
- For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration for SA qualified employees, or 1 year relevant experience for foreign qualified employees.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical Practitioner post-registration for SA qualified employees, or 6 years for foreign qualified employees.
- For Grade 3: At least 10 years experience as a Medical Practitioner post-registration for SA qualified employees, or 11 years for foreign qualified employees.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working at a district level hospital providing comprehensive medical services.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is mandatory.
