What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate pharmacy services within the Khayelitsha/Eastern Sub-structure to ensure quality and compliance with policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to pharmacy staff to enhance clinical service delivery.
- Implement and monitor relevant health policies, ensuring adherence to the Health Act, National Drug Policy, and Pharmacy Act.
- Foster good pharmacy practices across the service platform to improve patient care.
- Manage and evaluate strategic plans for pharmaceutical services, driving improvements and innovations.
What You’ll Need
- A basic qualification accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) that allows registration as a Pharmacist.
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as a Pharmacist.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience post-registration with the SAPC.
- A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel within the Metro.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in professional mentorship and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in project management and experience in public sector pharmaceutical systems.
- Competence in data analysis and computer literacy.
