What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee general specialist and highly specialized clinical services.
  • Ensure effective financial management and operational efficiency within clinical services.
  • Lead and support relevant clinical Functional Business Units (FBUs) to deliver quality patient-centered care.
  • Oversee human resource management including staffing, development, and employee relations.
  • Participate in clinical and special portfolios and projects as required.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification that allows registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Medical Officer after HPCSA registration.
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including strategy, quality management, and decision-making.
  • Competence in public sector financial management, human resource management, and project management.
  • Ability to engage in public speaking and facilitate effective communication within the team.
