Maintenance Manager – Buildings – East Rand

A company on the East Rand is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the operation and upkeep of buildings and equipment. This role involves managing both preventative and corrective maintenance activities, handling emergency maintenance responses, and supporting key strategic projects including plant shutdowns, renovations, and installations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance.
Manage emergency maintenance responses to ensure minimal disruption.
Support strategic projects such as plant shutdowns, building renovations, and equipment installations.

Requirements

Grade 12 certificate.
A minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance operations.
Valid South African driver’s licence and reliable transport.
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience using ERP systems for maintenance planning.

Additional Information

This role is located on the East Rand and requires strong organisational skills to ensure effective facility management and maintenance operations.
