About the Opportunity
The Kopanang Gold Mine Engineering Artisan Development Programme is an outstanding initiative designed to equip learners with essential technical skills and hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will participate in structured training sessions, gaining expertise in their chosen field. Opportunities are available in Rigging, Electrician, Boilermaker, and Diesel Mechanic disciplines. The programme also offers pathways linked to the Government Certificate of Competency.
Requirements/Qualifications
– Must be a South African citizen.
– Preferably aged between 18 and 35 years.
– Reside in Matlosana Local Municipality, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi, or Vierfontein areas.
– Provide proof of residence.
– Medically fit for underground work.
– Pass required security screening.
– Hold a Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
– Possess at least an N2 qualification or Technical Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics, Science, Relevant Trade Theory, and Engineering Drawing, with at least two subjects passed at 50% or higher.
