About the learnership
Join I&J, a subsidiary of AVI Limited, in their mission to curb youth unemployment through structured workplace exposure. Participants will be stationed at various sites, including Woodstock, Paarden Eiland, and the Waterfront, to learn about the logistics of the ‘ocean-to-table’ supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
– Engage in hands-on operations on the factory floor or in the warehouse.
– Learn about HACCP safety standards, cold-chain logistics, and industrial quality control.
– Gain experience in MSC-accredited sustainable fishing practices.

Requirements/Qualifications
– Age: 18 to 34 years old.
– Education: Minimum of Grade 10 completed.
– Employment Status: Currently unemployed.
– Compliance: No previous participation in a YES programme and not currently in government-funded training.
