About the Opportunity
Ivanplats (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is offering an exceptional learnership program at the Ivanplats Platreef Mine near Mokopane, Limpopo. This initiative is part of the development of a world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project utilizing cutting-edge mechanized underground mining methods.

Key Responsibilities
Participants will engage in a structured learning program that combines theoretical and practical training in various artisan disciplines. The program is designed to equip learners with the skills necessary to excel in mining operations, both underground and on the surface.

Requirements/Qualifications
– Grade 12 with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics and Physical Science.
– N2 qualification in Engineering Studies.
– Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
– Willingness to undergo capability assessments and medical fitness examinations.
– Preparedness to work in mining environments.
