What You’ll Do
- Set up user accounts on desktops and laptops, including mailboxes and Windows access.
- Unlock passwords using Admin Pack and assist in maintaining a service catalogue.
- Install and configure desktops, printers, and data projectors for daily operations.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis to resolve IT issues quickly.
- Support the availability of email, internet, and application services on workstations.
- Conduct PC installations, software installations, and network cabling verification.
- Provide technical support for repairs and replacements of computers, printers, and telephones.
- Assist with data migration during computer setup and maintain information management systems.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ICT policies.
What You’ll Need
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate along with a recognized 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in information technology.
- A valid driver’s license and proficiency in computer literacy.
- Knowledge of IT hardware and software, desktop and networking infrastructure, and help desk operations.
- Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
