About the Opportunity
Join the iMas Insurance Brokers’ 12-month learnership programme designed for unemployed South African youth from previously disadvantaged groups. This programme offers a blend of theoretical training and practical workplace exposure, focusing on Sales and Administration in both Long-Term and Short-Term Insurance sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Participants will engage in various activities, including conducting basic research, applying literacy and numeracy skills in insurance risk assessment, managing personal finances, and understanding financial risk. Learners will also gain insights into legislative requirements, ethical principles, compliance, and develop practical workplace skills.
Requirements/Qualifications
Candidates must have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting, be currently unemployed, and not be enrolled in any other studies, learnerships, internships, or YES Programmes. Immediate availability is required.
Benefits
Successful candidates will receive practical experience, structured training, coaching, and mentoring, along with a monthly allowance of R6,000. The programme offers a 12-month fixed-term contract and the opportunity to achieve an NQF Level 4 Insurance Qualification.
