What You’ll Do
- Oversee the administration of general leave and conduct leave audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage Temporary Incapacity Leave and facilitate Full Functional Assessment applications.
- Handle applications for ill health retirement and Injury on Duty claims.
- Administer service termination processes, ensuring all procedures are correctly followed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR functions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient HR service delivery.
- Provide support and guidance to staff regarding HR policies and procedures.
What You’ll Need
- At least four (4) years of experience in a human resources environment.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 recognized by SAQA).
- An applicable three (3) year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher as recognized by SAQA) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and one other official language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
- A valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
