What You’ll Do
- Lead clinical governance and ensure high standards in the Internal Medicine department.
- Coordinate clinical and administrative services to enhance patient care.
- Train and mentor medical interns, junior doctors, and medical students.
- Implement Department of Health policies and programs effectively.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and manage patient complaints.
- Engage in academic activities within the hospital and the broader healthcare cluster.
- Supervise and ensure the effective utilization of medical staff.
What You’ll Need
- A Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine and Fellowship of the College of South Africa, allowing registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience post-registration with the HPCSA in a relevant field.
- Current registration with HPCSA as a specialist.
- Computer literacy and additional management or supervisory experience will be advantageous.
- Willingness to work commuted overtime as required.
